Terms and Conditions
Last updated: October 23, 2026
These Terms and Conditions govern your use of CertTrail, including browsing exams, creating an account, enrolling in certification exam preparation, and accessing practice questions and study materials. By using the site, creating an account, or completing a purchase, you agree to these terms.
1. Agreement to these terms
Please read these Terms and Conditions together with our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use CertTrail. If you are using CertTrail on behalf of an organization, you confirm that you have authority to bind that organization.
2. The CertTrail service
CertTrail is an independent learning resource for IT certification exam preparation. We offer vendor-organized study paths, practice exams, online practice questions, explanations, and related study materials.
CertTrail is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or authorized by CompTIA, Microsoft, Cisco, Amazon Web Services, Google, or any other certification vendor. Vendor names, trademarks, and exam titles are used only to identify the exams our educational materials help you prepare for. Official certification exams are administered by the relevant vendor or its testing partners, not by CertTrail.
3. Eligibility and accounts
You may browse public pages without an account. To enroll, access full practice content, or track progress, you must create an account and provide accurate information.
- You are responsible for keeping your password confidential and for activity on your account.
- Notify us promptly at admin@certtrail.com if you believe your account has been misused.
- You must be old enough to form a binding contract and to use paid online services in your country. CertTrail is intended for adult professional learners.
- We may refuse, suspend, or close accounts that violate these terms or that appear to be fraudulent or abusive.
4. Enrollment, payments, and access
Some practice exams and study packages require paid enrollment. Prices, package details, and available payment methods are shown at checkout. Payments are processed by third-party providers such as PayPal or Lemon Squeezy. Their terms also apply to the payment transaction.
- Access to paid content is granted after we receive successful payment confirmation.
- Enrollment is for your personal use. You may not share login details or purchased content with others.
- Taxes, currency conversion, and processor fees may apply depending on your payment method and location.
- If a payment is reversed, charged back, or otherwise fails, we may suspend access to the related package.
5. Refunds
Because practice questions and study materials are digital content, access is generally provided immediately after purchase. Refund requests are reviewed case by case. Email admin@certtrail.com with your account email, exam name, and payment details. Payment providers may also have their own refund or dispute processes.
We may decline a refund where content has already been substantially accessed, where the request is untimely, or where these terms have been violated, except where applicable consumer law requires otherwise.
6. License and acceptable use
We grant you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access CertTrail content for your own exam preparation. You may not use the platform or its content for any other purpose without our written permission.
- Do not copy, scrape, download in bulk, republish, sell, or distribute practice questions, explanations, guides, or other materials.
- Do not share purchased packages, cheat sheets, or question banks with other people or on public sites.
- Do not attempt to reverse engineer, disrupt, overload, or bypass security or access controls.
- Do not use CertTrail to cheat on an official vendor exam or to obtain exam content in a way that violates vendor exam policies.
- Do not upload unlawful, infringing, or harmful content, or impersonate another person.
7. Intellectual property
CertTrail, the CertTrail name and logo, site design, practice questions, explanations, study guides, and other original materials are owned by CertTrail or its licensors. Except for the limited license above, no rights are granted to you.
Third-party trademarks, including certification vendor names and exam titles, remain the property of their owners. Use of those names on CertTrail does not imply any partnership, sponsorship, or endorsement.
8. Educational purpose and no exam-pass guarantee
CertTrail materials are for education and exam preparation only. Practice questions are designed to reflect exam-style formats and topics, but they are not official vendor exam questions and may not match any specific live exam.
We do not guarantee that you will pass any certification exam, achieve a particular score, or obtain employment. Exam blueprints change. You are responsible for confirming current official requirements with the certification vendor before you test.
9. Availability and changes to the service
We aim to keep CertTrail available, accurate, and up to date, but we do not promise uninterrupted access. We may add, change, or remove exams, questions, features, or pricing. Maintenance, outages, or updates may occur without notice.
10. Disclaimers
CertTrail is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that content is complete, error-free, or current with every vendor blueprint change.
11. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, CertTrail and its team are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost data, exam fees, or failed certification attempts, arising from your use of the service.
Our total liability for any claim relating to CertTrail will not exceed the amount you paid to CertTrail for the specific exam package giving rise to the claim in the three months before the claim, or fifty U.S. dollars if you have not paid us. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so parts of this section may not apply to you.
12. Indemnity
You agree to defend and indemnify CertTrail against claims, damages, and expenses arising from your misuse of the service, your violation of these terms, or your infringement of another person’s rights.
13. Suspension and termination
You may stop using CertTrail at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these terms, if payment fails, or if we discontinue the service. Provisions that by their nature should survive, including intellectual property, disclaimers, limitation of liability, and indemnity, will survive termination.
14. Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms and Conditions. The “Last updated” date at the top of this page will change when we do. If you continue to use CertTrail after an update, you accept the revised terms. If you do not agree, you must stop using the service.
15. Contact
